Notes:

• The congress is hybrid: face-to-face it is held at the Campus of the University of Alicante; online it is held asynchronously and by live videostreaming the face-to-face congress according to its schedule.
• The face-to-face contributions have a timetable for their presentation that will be communicated in advance to the authors. 
• Authors can present their work in Spanish, English or Catalan (Valencian).
• Online contributions do not have a fixed timetable; authors send us a video and this can be viewed throughout the conference. Communication between authors and attendees takes place through forums and question forms.
• A more detailed preliminary programme will be posted once the review process is underway. 

He is passionate about technology, education and science communication. He currently serves as Director of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Systems at the National University of Lanús (UNLa) and as Founder and AI architect at Sicilia Labs. He has a strong commitment to and track record in the field of education. He is a university lecturer at both UNLa and the National University of Quilmes (UNQ), where he is dedicated to training future generations of IT professionals, bridging the gap between academic fundamentals and the current needs of the technology industry. In terms of his academic background, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems from UNLa and a Specialisation in the Internet of Things (IoT) from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires (FIUBA). Furthermore, with the aim of bringing a more comprehensive, inclusive and multidisciplinary perspective to his management and to technology, he is currently undertaking a Specialisation in Gender and Public Policy at UNLa. Professor of Contemporary History at the Complutense University of Madrid and visiting professor at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). A visiting professor at numerous universities in Europe and the Americas—such as Oxford University in the UK and the University of Guadalajara in Mexico—López Vega specializes in the history of intellectuals, liberalism, and the scientific and cultural relations between Spain and the Americas. His works include Gregorio Marañón: Radiografía de un liberal (Taurus, 2011—chosen as the best non-fiction book of the year by El Cultural), 1914: El año que cambió la historia (Taurus, 2011), and, as co-editor of various research projects, he has co-edited, with Juan Pablo Fusi, Diálogos Atlánticos: Cultura y ciencia en España y América en el siglo XX (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2021) and Miradas. The Biographical Genre in Spanish (Cinca, 2023). He has published dozens of book chapters and articles in academic journals included in outstanding quality indexes—where he has also edited several monographs—such as Peter Lang, Asclepio, Arbor, Revista de Occidente, Porta Linguarum, Octaedro, Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos, and the Bulletin of the Royal National Academy of Medicine. Recipient of the Extraordinary Bachelor’s Degree Award and the Julián Marías Humanities Award from the Community of Madrid in the under-40 category (2012), he has received distinctions such as honorary professorship at the Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo and San Martín de Porres Universities of Peru, as well as membership in the Peruvian Historical Society. López Vega is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal CIAN-Revista de Historia de las Universidades (2013-present), the Anuario Mexicano de Asuntos Globales (2022-present), and the Revista de Cuadernos de la Guardia Civil. He is also the director of the Biografía, Pensamiento e Historia and Cuadernos de Estudios Latinoamericanos collections at Ediciones Cinca. After serving as director of the Ortega-Marañón University Research Institute (2019-2025), he was appointed director for Latin America of the Ortega-Marañón Foundation. He also serves as president of the International Network Council of the Gaspar Casal Foundation, as a member of the Advisory Board of Puy du Fou-España,  secretary of the Advisory Board of the Gaspar Casal Foundation, and Scientific Advisor to the Jorge Rando Museum in Málaga. He is also an Honorary Member of EvalUE, Evaluateurs & experts de l’Union Européenne.
